Initial Intake

Each visit starts with 60-90 minute visit to understand your needs, concerns, and hopes. We look at your current medications, explore your current physical conditions, learn about your childhood, relationships, and your priorities. From there I can work with you to develop goals for wholeness and wellbeing.

We develop SMART goals (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely) that works for you. This will include creating structure and boundaries in your life.

Please be mindful,

I understand not everybody is ready to make changes in their lives. I am a provider that guides you, never forcing you to change because people don't change unless they want to. If your goal is to get medications to manage health conditions, but there is no motivation to make lifestyle changes, I am not the right provider for you. I see my time and effort as an investment in you so that you can be the change that you and your loved ones needs. If you are ready to do the healing work of discovering yourself, then we are a great fit. If you want to start getting off certain medications, then let's work together to reach your goals.

Individualized Care: Nature-Based, In person,
& Telemedicine

These are not your typical 15 minute primary care visits nor are they hourly sessions of venting. My goal is to help you see yourself and your behaviors more clearly so that you can make the changes to live in alignment with your values. Your story is your medicine and we can redefine your role in your past, often the ones that were needed to protect you, so that you can be your true self. As we continue to explore your path, we will learn to manage pain and discomfort that arises and practice resiliency skills.

For Utah residents, we highly encourage some sessions of nature-based therapy. Forest bathing or "shinrin-yoku" is a Japanese practice of taking in the natural environment through our senses. This is not exercise, it is opening up our sense of sight, smell, sound, taste, and touch and bridging ourselves with the natural world. We will guide you to connect with nature and yourself in way you may not have noticed before. Please let the provider know if you are interested.

Group Visits:
Building Healthy Communities

Healing does not occur in silos. We work not just with you individually, but with other members of our community to build a safe space that does not readily exist in our world.

We learn together resiliency skills that were missing from many of our lives: understanding emotions and thoughts, grounding practices, mind-body connection, radical honesty and compassion led behavioral changes.

In Salt Lake City, we are building community! We will soon start offering groups (each held bi-weekly) for Asian Americans adults experiencing mental health difficulties. I will be selective of the 8-10 participants in the group to make sure we build an environment of growth and emotional safety.

We are also building a community of "healing for healers." Please reach out to me if you're interested in attending groups.
